Assessment. Clarity. Direction.

What We Evaluate

Our evaluations go beyond a single diagnosis. Whether the presenting concern is attention, learning, mood, or behavior, we provide a complete picture of how a person is functioning and why.

ADHD & RELATED CONCERNS

Detailed evaluations for children, teens, and adults that assess attention, executive functioning, and behavioral and emotional functioning. Using a combination of cognitive testing, behavioral rating scales, and performance measures, we provide clear answers and useful recommendations. While ADHD is often the presenting concern, evaluations frequently identify anxiety, depression, or behavioral disorders as primary or contributing factors.

LEARNING & ACADEMIC TESTING

In-depth assessment of reading, writing, and math skills alongside cognitive abilities. These evaluations help identify learning differences, uncover barriers to academic success, and provide actionable guidance for support both in and out of the classroom.

ADULT EVALUATIONS

Many adults reach adulthood without ever receiving answers about attention, learning, or related challenges. If you are seeking a formal diagnosis, workplace or college accommodations, or simply a better understanding of how you function, we provide detailed evaluations designed specifically for adults. Telehealth options are available.. .

My name is Amy Bottomly, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in evaluations for ADHD and related concerns. I chose this work deliberately. I was drawn to the structure of it, a defined process, a clear deliverable, and results that follow a person long after our time together ends. A single evaluation can inform how a child is taught, how an adult understands themselves, and how families, teachers, and providers show up differently. That kind of reach, from one thorough process, is what keeps me in this work.

I hold a master's degree in human relations and have spent five years conducting evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. For clients who need it, I also offer separate academic achievement testing that identifies age and grade equivalents across reading, writing, and math. Sometimes what looks like ADHD is something else entirely, or something in addition to it, and the whole picture matters.

I believe a good evaluation does more than confirm what you already suspect. It gives you language, direction, and a roadmap for whatever comes next.
